Job Description 
Position: BI lead
Location: Chengdu
Summary
Our Company is supporting a BI project which we had designed and implemented for our client. We would like to transfer some of this work to an offshore team, starting with maintenance and enhancement requirements. As such, we need to assemble an offshore team to support, and work with, our onsite BI team to handle the client’s requests. The existing BI solution is built with MicroStrategy BI Platform 8, along with Informatica ETL toolsets to facilitate the data movement and transformations. Our offshore team now needs a MicroStrategy specialist who can handle all development tasks requiring MicroStrategy knowledge and skills. An example of this work includes creation and customization of reports, modeling, analysis, dashboard, and KPIs.

Job Function
*        Able to lead a team of ETL and Microstrategy developers for overall delivery of solution
*        Colloborate with both offshore and onsite team members to implement BI requirements for the Company's client
*        Analyze BI requirements, and then be able to use Informatica Platform to design and implement the solution
*        Customize and enhance existing work in Informatica such as existing Batch Processes,etc.

Requirements
*        Four Year -degree in Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience in the area of Business Intelligence
*        Over all 5 to 6 years of experience, with 3 to 4 years in Data Warehousing.
*        Three or more years of working experience with Informatica Platform
*        One or more years of working experience with Informatica Platform (current version 8)
*        Three or more years of working experience in building a decision support system, such as data warehousing, data mining, predictive analysis and modeling
*        Expert in SQL, SQL tuning, and data modeling
*        Familiar with a variety of DMBS such as Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server
*        Deep understanding of data warehousing theories and practical concepts
*        Familiar with other BI products such as Business Object and Cognos is a plus
*        Proficiency in English verbal communication and excellent level in reading and writing in English
