Senior Database Kernel Developer
Responsibility:
lDesign and implement database kernel modules, such as SQL parser, query optimizer, data store, transaction logging and recovery, concurrency control, system management, grid computing, fault tolerance, etc.
lWrite technical documents to accurately describe features/designs.
lImplement high-quality code according to design documents.
lProduce test cases, run unit tests and perform general system Integration testing.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
l5+ years of software development experience in C++ is a must.
lMinimum 3 years of experiences in system software development or equivalent experiences.
lExcellent knowledge of database internals, including parser, query optimizer, execution engine, data store, transaction logging and recovery, concurrency control, etc.
lFamiliar with Linux and Windows.
lBS Degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
lAbility to grasp new technologies quickly; ability to think outside of the box.
lGood written and oral communication skills. Strong teamwork orientation.
Data Mining Software Developer
Responsibility:
lDesign and implement data mining algorithms, such as classification, clustering, regression, association, etc.
lWork closely with senior architects in the US on design and implementation.
lWrite documentation to accurately describe feature specifications and designs.
lImplement high-quality code according to design documents.
lProduce test cases, execute unit tests and perform general system Integration testing.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
lExperience in developing commercial software for data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence or related fields.
l3+ years of software development experience in Java/C/C++ is a must.
lBachlor Degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
lGood written and oral communication skills. Strong teamwork orientation.
lAbility to grasp new technologies quickly; ability to think outside of the box.
Database Kernel Test Developer
Responsibility:
lDesign and write test cases for rules and features defined in SQL standard.
lPerform unit test and integration test for database kernel modules.
lDesign test cases to test Optimizer.
lPerform the database performance test, such as stress testing, TPC-H etc.
lHelp the developer to find the cause of the bugs.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
l3+ years of experience in SQL, familiarity with the SQL standard is a big plus.
l3+ year of experience in C/C+.
lExcellent knowledge of database internals, especially on query optimizer etc.
lProven expertise in the complex system software testing and automation.
lGood written and oral English skills.
lBachelor degree or above in Computer Science.
lSelf-starter, capable of working independently, be detail oriented and able to perform in a fast paced environment.
Natural Language Processing Software Developer
Responsibility:
lDesign and implement natural language processing software algorithms, such as word segmentation, text categorization, etc.
lWork closely with senior architects in the US on design and implementation.
lWrite documentation to accurately describe feature specifications and designs.
lImplement high-quality code according to design documents.
lProduce test cases, execute unit tests, and perform general system Integration testing.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
lExperience in natural language processing, entity extraction, word segmentation, and semantic analysis.
lFamiliarity with UIMA framework is a big plus.
lFamiliarity with semantic web and/or linguistic resources is a big plus.
l3+ years of software development experience in Java/C/C++ is a must.
lMaster Degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
lGood written and oral communication skills. Strong teamwork orientation.
lAbility to grasp new technologies quickly; ability to think outside of the box.
